  • Approx 0.84 x 1.2m - 25mm thick
Saturated weight up to 25 kg per square metre.

  • Sedum mats can be laid flat or on slopes. For slopes, we would recommend 150mm biodegradable fixing pegs (we would recommend 1-3 per square metre, dependant on the gradient).

  • Water daily until established, but do not overwater.

Weed manually or by an inbuilt watering system, when necessary, through dry, warm periods of water.

  • Our delivery works around you.

Our turf is harvested fresh to order the day before it arrives with you. Our delivery charges vary depending on the amount of turf you order and where it is going (there are no minimum or maximum amounts) but all delivery charges are included in the total price quoted when you place your order, so there are no nasty surprises.

The turf comes out on wooden pallets. The maximum amount of rolls per pallet is generally 60 (60m²), and a full pallet weighs approx 1 tonne.

Your turf must be laid on the day of delivery, and deliveries can be made Tuesday to Friday.

You can book guaranteed delivery times, so there is no waiting around for hours for your turf to arrive. Occasionally, due to circumstances beyond our control ( traffic congestion, vehicle breakdowns, weather conditions), deliveries can be delayed – if this happens, we will keep in touch with you to let you know what is happening.

Most of our deliveries are delivered by a pallet courier; however, it’s possible that your delivery could be made on a larger vehicle with a forklift offload if required. If access or other restrictions prevent vehicles above a certain size from reaching your address, or there are other offloading or parking restrictions which could affect the delivery, please let us know.

To offload the pallet, the surface must be flat and level. Turf can be very heavy, so the driver cannot push or pull goods on a slope or uneven surface. Because the pallet trolley has small wheels, pallets cannot be delivered onto soil, grass or gravel – a tarmac or paved surface is required.
