Following the success of our trial of RTF at Chester Zoo last autumn, Head Gardener Mark Hargraves has now ordered 1000 m2 to be laid onto a new picnic area. Mark was so impressed with the performance of the RTF which stood up to a tremendous amount of wear and tear, likened to a herd of elephants trampling ove the area he stated the turf looked as good as the day it went down. Where Mark normally struggles to keep his turf in reasonable condition due to the heavy traffic from visitors he is now happy that he will not have to re-turf this area as often as in the past if at all !!!.
Other benefits of RTF include excellent drought tolerance, shade resisitence and performs well in waterlogged conditions.
